What are coffee capsule machines and what’s so good about them?
Coffee capsule machines give you café-quality coffee in the comfort of your own kitchen. You can taste different flavors of coffee from all around the world by relying on both original coffee capsules and “alternative” coffee capsules. Alternative capsules like Caffe Bonini’s 100% Italian roasted coffee beans provide you new flavors and tastes that may not be available in the original capsules, flavors such as–whisky, havana rhum, pistacchio, almonds (amaretto), hazelnut (nocciola), chocolate, mandorla, sambuca, and many others. Or maybe you just want your espresso–you can choose from different intensities and strengths of espresso coffee. On the right photo above you can see a Caffe Bonini coffee pod or capsule machine–the Bonita. But there’s many brands of coffee pod machines–some of the most popular are Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Lavazza A Modo Mio, and Caffitaly. The good news is Caffe Bonini produces coffee pods and capsules that fit perfectly on these brands.
What’s special about Caffe Bonini’s Coffee Beans and how is it different from others?
Caffe Bonini’s coffee capsules are made of 100% Italian Roasted Coffee beans. Caffe Bonini uses the best coffee beans which come from the two best mixtures of Arabica and Robusta. Arabica beans are sweet and fragrant while Robusta beans are substantial and decisive.
The beans are carefully prepared during extraction and roasting. But the most important process is the blending stage. This is the secret art of the Bonini company—our blends follow an ancient recipe handed down across generations of coffee roasters and improved by our coffee Sommeliers to give you the best quality and flavor. Our goal is to make you experience moments of pleasure with your coffee. What originated from a small Tuscan coffee toasting family business has now grown to 120 Pausa Caffe stores across Europe.
Caffe Bonini manages the website Caffe.com which serves as the main e-commerce for online sales. The Australian branch is Au.Caffe.com. Caffe.com has more than 500,000 new and loyal customers who view our company daily and we deliver over 500 packages per day to the whole Europe with over 10 million capsules sold each month.

What is the difference between Arabica coffee beans and Robusta coffee beans?
Arabica and Robusta are the two primary types of coffee being cultivated for drinking. The two differ in taste, price, fragrance, acidity, caffeine content. Arabica is generally more expensive than Robusta. Robustas are preferred for espressos and they contain twice as much caffeine as Arabicas.
Caffe Bonini’s Arabica Beans come from Southern and Central America and have a sweet taste with the distinct aromatic notes typical of Arabica beans. Our Arabica Beans have a finer and fruitier taste than the Robusta while maintaining a strong delicious fragrance. If you like a light and sweet coffee then this is for you.
On the other hand, our Robusta Beans are strong and bitter, with a long lasting cream that sits on top of that dark delicious brew. Because it contains more caffeine than Arabica, it gives you that extra boost in energy that you need at the start of the day. Our Robusta beans are perfect for all creamy espresso lovers and those who need caffeine to jumpstart their day.
Robusta beans contain an average of 2.7% caffeine content, double that of Arabica’s 1.5% caffeine content. This gives Robusta a more bitter taste. Arabica also contains 60% more lipids and twice the sugar compared with Robusta, that’s why it’s sweeter. Robusta contains 7-10% the antioxidant Chlorogenic Acid (CGA) while Arabica contains 5.5-8% chlorogenic acid. Both coffee help fight free radical damage in your body to prevent and slow down the signs of aging, however coffee should be taken in moderation.
Robusta is cheaper because it’s easier to grow on the farm, it produces more coffee beans per farm area, it grows faster and the harvest time is shorter, and it’s more resistant to insects because of the high caffeine content since insects don’t like caffeine. Robusta beans are circular in shape while Arabica beans are oval in shape.
Arabica consists of 75% of the world’s coffee production while 25% is Robusta.
How does the coffee from capsule machines taste like?
The coffee from a capsule coffee machine tastes and feels like the expensive ones you pay for in the cafés but with significantly less cost and you also save a lot of time from having to grind the beans, boiling the hot water, and the traditional preparation of coffee. The capsule coffee machine does all the work for you; you just plug in the coffee pod or capsule then press a button and wait for it to finish—which takes only a couple of minutes. Although coffee capsule machines are expensive you will save a lot of money in the long run especially if you are used to drinking coffee every day and especially if you love drinking coffee in cafés.
